Personal Profiles
Justin Clark, Managing Partner of Personal Alternative® Funeral Services, is a 5th generation funeral director in British Columbia, with 19 years of experience in the funeral business.
Justin began his career at the age of twelve with the family funeral home in Trail, B.C. In 1991 Justin left the family firm to begin his apprenticeship in Vancouver. During his apprenticeship, Justin worked as a funeral director in the Burnaby and Vancouver areas and in 1997 managed a funeral home in Vancouver until joining Personal Alternative® Funeral Services as Managing Partner in April, 2001.
Having worked for a large, corporately-owned mega-funeral chain, Justin knows first hand that a family operated business is the best way to serve the interests of the community. With Personal Alternative's unique approach to providing an affordable, commonsense "alternative" to the expensive traditional funeral homes found in this area, Justin believes his client families will be much better served.
Justin is very active in the community, and enjoys camping, fishing, hiking and skiing.
Marie-Hélène Gauthier, 32, a licensed funeral director with Personal Alternative® Funeral Services has 13 years of experience in the funeral business.

Marie-Hélène spent 7 years as a funeral director in Québec and in 1996 moved westward to work at a funeral home in Vancouver, where she worked until joining the Personal Alternative® team here in April 2001.
Marie-Hélène is very active and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, tennis and camping.
